Confectionery studies - 10th week

Hi Dears!
I haven't posted of the last 5 weeks of my studies, as this period was so busy with all the Holidays, exams and working in the Café.

But now I will show you the details, because these courses were really exciting, and I learnt many many tasty desserts.

This is the second post about cakes. We learnt 7 different cakes that day. (I haven't got the chance to make a photo of the 7th, as it was quickly cut and we ate it... :) )

Yogurt & Chocolate cake 2 in 1

Hi! :)
As I promised I brought the recipe of this yin-yang cake I baked last time!
To be honest, I haven't decided yet, if I like the result or not.
I wanted to make something different, than usual, something more interesting, and I think it worked. :)
Untill the yogurt solidified with the gelatin, I had placed a baking sheet in the middle to separate it from the chocolate part.
It needed a night to cool in the fridge.
I baked this for my father's, my brother's and for my birthdays, as we celebrated together. :)

Peach cake with marzipan coverage

Hi Dears,
So I'm back from our 3-day-long holiday, we were at Lake Balaton, as You might know it from our FB page (where we can meet almost everyday, come and join :) )
But, before that we celebrated my Mother's birthday, and I baked here a light, summertime Peach cake. I covered it with yellow marzipan, and decorated it with marzipan flowers that I cut out with my new flower mold fondant cutters.
(I ordered it from ebay, 4 pieces for just 1 dollar or so, and they make life so much easier, I love them. :) )

Cottage Cheese and Biscuit Balls

Hello! :) Do You like autumn?

The school has been started already. I remember I loved this time when I was in high school, that I could meet again with all my friends. :)

But for now, that I am working, it's not too different from summer, however, I do prefer this season. The nature is beautiful and we can dress up in great clothes, like I can wear my favourite leather jacket with my boots. :D

And we can eat more sweets, haha. :D No more bikini style. So I brought You now some no-bake dessert. It's easy to make and great to taste! :)

3 layered ICE CREAM

Hello! :)
How are You? :) Right now It's so good.
I'm just sitting in front of my window , that is fully open, enjoying the wind with the summertime weather on my off day from work.
Actually, this is my first summer that I have to work through, so these free-days that I have seem to be even more valuable than before my school vacation times.
And yes, I'm having this home-made ice cream as well, that cools my body, with all the 3 layers that it has. I made this some days ago, and left it in the freezer so we can enjoy it for a little time ahead. :)
It's really so easy to make, You don't need to have ice-cream maker machines, not even fancy ingredients, so give it a try!
And have Your home-made ice-cream in the summer! :)

Peachy Yogurt Cake

Hello Darlings! :)

How is Your Summer lately? Mine is really busy.
I haven't got too much time to enjoy the vacation after my last semester, as my trainee program have begun. But no complaint, it's very useful, and my colleagues are sweet and helpful. Only I have to study the methods as soon as I can, and it can be real confusing sometimes, but I  try to do my best. :) Yoda would say: "Do or Do not. There is no try." So fingers crossed. :D

But baking remained my favourite hobby , so here's a tasty, spongy, fruity, refreshing cake. Enjoy! :)

Strawberry Cream

Sunshine, dessert, strawberries ♥ What can ruin this harmony?

I can say, that it's hard to do so!
However, some exams are right here with me, and they are trying to freak me out, but I can always calm down with doing some sports, or I just go and have a dessert like this. :D

And the best part? It's so easy and quick to make, I don't even waste time. :)
