Potato Pasta

Hello Dears! :)
To continue the Hungarian main courses list on the new page here, I brought an easy dish with the use of the Hungarian paprika as well.
This is one of the easiest  and the less expensive dish of all, so that's why it's one of the most popular. And we love it, it taste so good.
(Only it's full of carbohydrate  so if You're on a diet, this one is not for You...)
Ingredients:
  • 2 kg of potatoes
  • 3 tsp of salt + water to cover the potatoes
  • 1 big onion
  • oil
  • 1 tbsp of Hungarian paprika (spice)
  • 1 tsp of white pepper
  • 1 dl of water
  • 0.5 kg of pasta
  • 4 dl of milk
  • +1-2 tbsp of salt
  • tomatoes/cucumbers
Preparation:
1. Put the potatoes in salty water, and boil them. Heat them till they get soft inside.

2. Peel them, and smash them.

3. Add 4 dl of milk to them.
4. Cut the onion to small cubes, and fry them in a little oil.

5. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of paprika, and a little white pepper and salt to it, then add 1 cup of water as well.

6. Add this to the smashed potatoes.

7. Cook pasta, and add it to the potatoes as well. Stir them together.

8. You can serve it with cucumbers, or tomatoes.

Enjoy!
