Apple pie

This apple pie is one of the several sweets, that are perfect for all the occasions. This time, I baked it for Christmas. :) I don't know whether Junglefrog blog accepts two competitors, but hope for the bests. :)

Nut macaron, failed or passed?

I'm flying in my Christmas spirit clouds, and started to be the baking angel in the kitchen for a while! :) After the gingerbreads, I decided to bake something new.  This was my first time to bake macaron... 

The taste is wonderful, but the shape... could be better. :) But I know what went wrong... 

Anyway, I fell in love with my little darlings, first babes, so I dare to challenge them in a photo competition in Junglefrog blog. They are not the perfect macarons, but they bring the Christmas spirit, with their sweetness, and somehow they reminds me of my old snowmen, who slipped also from being perfect , they were always  a little bit gawky, but I loved them, and was really sad when they melted.

Visiting the biggest Christmas fair in Budapest

I've visited the Christmas fair in Vörösmarty square last night. I was curious about it, I like visiting it every year, it always brings me the Christmas spirit, and this time wasn't an exception, either. So let's see what shall we find there this year! :)

This is the 14th time, that this fair is organised, so we can say, that this is quite a new custom here. Originally this came from Vienna, especially from queen Maria Teresa, who has the first Christmas tree in our country.  But every time it's worth going and looking this fair, the atmosphere is fantastic. :)

As winter comes, we need to take cear of ourselves more attentive, like we should eat more fruits, to get more vitamine C-s. Therefore, I made this dessert for my Granny's birthday instead of the usual cake. Fortunately she liked it. :)
