Truffles roll

Hello Guys! :) I'm kind of sick right now, so it's a perfect occasion to share a yummy recipe , as I'm sitting at home with a nice warm tea.  /And listening this music, it's just awesome, makes me happy. :)/

I baked this 2 Truffles rolls for my Dad's name's day some days before. I've been experiencing with this recipe for about 2 years, and now I can say that it's perfect! :D

You know, there's a confectionery where we used to live and that's the only place (that we know) to sell  these kind of cakes, and if there was a celebration my Dad always bought this.
But now, he said that mine was even better this time. :D So Yay! I won! :D

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs (separated)
  • 2 tbsp of vanilla sugar
  • 6 tbsp of sugar
  • 6 tbsp of flour
  • 6 tbsp of water
  • 1 tbsp of baking powder
  • cocoa (as You like, but around 2-3 tbsp)
  • -----------------
  • 150 g = 3/5 cup of crushed biscuits
  • 60 g = 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 6 tbsp of water
  • 100 g = 2/5 cup of margarine
  • cocoa
  • 2 bars of dark chocolate
  • 1 package of chocolate pudding
  • 3 tbsp of sugar
  • 4 dl= 1.7 cup of milk
  • 100 g = 2/5 cup of walnuts
  • cherries

Preparation:

1. Whisk the egg whites with the vanilla sugar.

2. Add the ingredients in the upper column to the yolks. Mix them well.

3. Then carefully add the egg foam to it, gently.

4. Put a baking sheet to a baking tray, and pour half of the batter into that.

5. Bake it for about 10-15 minutes, on 150'Celsius.

6. Repeat this with the other half.

7. Now let's do the filling cream. Melt the margarine and the chocolate, add them to the crushed biscuits.

8. Heat up 6 tbsp of water, and spoon 1/4 cup of sugar to it. Mix them.

9. Add this to the biscuits, too, with some cocoa.

10. Make a chocolate pudding from the "red" ingredients. Then add this to the biscuits, too. Now You will have a nice concise chocolate cream. /You can add a little rum, or whisky if you like/

11. Finally crush the treated walnuts, and add them to it.

12. When a sponge is ready, roll it up with the paper on, rapidly. Cover it with a wet cloth.

13. Then roll them out, and fill them with the chocolate cream.

14. Place some seeded cherries inside, and roll them back.

15. Lubricate some more cream on the top, and decorate it with cherries.

Enjoy! :)
PS: Here's the nutricial datas of a slice :)
