Chocolate & Coffee Balls

Sziasztok! :) (Hello in Hungarian :D ) How are You?

I'm in the finish of the semester, there is only 1 week left, and I will have 4 exams. It's hard, but bearable.

I usually find some ways to make this period more endurable, for example I only listen to gleeful music, do some aerobics, and make some easy quick tasty desserts like this, when my energy is on a lower level.

So, if You are also in a stressful period, don't give up, do some pleasant activities! ;) See the recipe below:
Ingredients:
   for the Chocolate balls:
  • 500 g = 2 cups of crushed biscuits/ cookie crumb crust
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g= 1/2 cup of margarine /melted/
  • 3 dl = 5/4 cup of milk
  • 125 g = 1/2 cup of icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp of almond flavor
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa
  • a bar of chocolate (dark) /melted/
  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter or Nutella

   for the Coffee balls:
  • 500 g = 2 cups of crushed biscuits
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g= 1/2 cup of margarine /melted/
  • 3 dl = 5/4 cup of milk
  • 150 g = 10 tbsp of icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp of almond flavor
  • 50 g= 1/5 cup of instant vanilla cappuccino powder
  • 1 tbsp of coffee (instant, can be decaffeinated)
  • ----
  • dessicated coconut, cocoa, and cappuccino powder for rolling the balls

Preparation:

1. In two bowls, mix the ingredients of the chocolate- and of the coffee balls.
(the coffee pastry became greenish, because of the almond flavor which was green. :) )

2. With your hand knead them to two big balls. (if You feel that they are too thick, add some more milk to them)

3. With a tablespoon , take out some pastry and make a ball.

4. Then cover it with coconut, cocoa, or cappuccino powder. I did 3 kinds of balls, coffee balls with cappuccino powder, chocolate balls with cocoa, and a mixed version, a little of both with coconut covering. :)

You can now serve them, or put them to the fridge! Enjoy! ;)
