Hi Dears! :)
One day I had a funny idea, to bake in orange peels, like they were muffin liners...
So, I tried it! :D Now don't tell me they are not cute! :)
Although, I realized they needed more time, than baking them in average paper muffin liners, so, I would recommend to bake them in regular muffin tray, then serve them like these.
The result is really eye-catching, and your guests will be amazed. :)
Ingredients:
- 9-10 oranges
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp of Cologrin sweetener (or 120 g = 1/2 cup of sugar)
- 2 tbsp of vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp of cocoa
- 0,5 dl = 1/5 cup of sunflower oil
- 1 dl = 2/5 cup of orange juice
- 300 g = 1 +1/5 cup flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- ----
- half bar of dark chocolate (50 g) crushed / or chocolate chips
Preparation:
1. Wash the oranges well, then half them to 2 pieces each. Squeeze them with a citrus squeezer. Then filtrate the juice of it, we will use it later.
2. Mix the eggs with the sweetener, and with the vanilla sugar. Then add the cocoa, a pinch of salt, the oil, 1 dl of the orange juice, then finally, the flour with the baking powder. Mix them well.
3. Crush the chocolate to small pieces, or use chocolate chips, and stir them into the pastry.
4. Spoon 2 tbsp of pastry to each halved-orange peel. (Or into regular muffin liners)
5. In a preheated oven bake the muffins for about an hour if You bake them in the orange peels, otherwise for about 40 minutes in regular muffin tray on 180 degree Celsius.
Enjoy! :D
