As winter comes, we need to take cear of ourselves more attentive, like we should eat more fruits, to get more vitamine C-s. Therefore, I made this dessert for my Granny's birthday instead of the usual cake. Fortunately she liked it. :)
Ingredients:
- 6 big golden apples
- some margarine
- 6 teaspoons of sugar
- 250 g of cottage cheese (special Hungarian "túró")
- 3 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract or flavor
- 1 dl milk
- biscuits
- 1 package of vanilla pudding
- another tablespooon of vanilla flavor
- 3 dl milk
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- hollowed inside of the apples
Preparation:
Wash the apples, and cut the upper sides of them, carefully.
Hollow the inside of the apples, with a knife and a table spoon.
Separate the apple cores , from the fruit pulp, because we will use that later.
Oil a baking sheet with some margarine, and put the hollowed apples into that.
Pour 1-1 teaspoons of sugar into the apples, make sure there is sugar on the inner sides as well.
Bake it in the oven for about 10 minutes. (on 180 C)
Until then, we will make the creams.
Put the cottage cheese into a bowl, add some icing sugar , and some vanilla flavor, and mix them.
Soak some biscuits into a cup of milk.
Fill the apples with some biscuits, then add some cottage cheese cream on it, and put them back to the oven for about 10 minuits.
Cut the hollowed inside -the fruit pulps of the apples into smaller pieces, and blend it with the vanilla cream.
Put some buiscuits onto the cottage cheese cream inside the apples, and then fill them with the vanilla-apple cream.
Decorate them with the upper side of the apples (cut them into two pieces, and put them into the cream vertically) Then put 1-1 biscuits in the middle, so they would look like bunnies. (two ears and a face)
Bon Apetit! :)
