Snowballs

Awh.. Sweet snowballs, a quick dessert without baking or cooking.

And such fun, to create little snowmen, too! :) Do you like snow?

Personally I love it when it falls, and it's great joy to go out and play with it and  with friends. Too bad I have only one week left of my 'after exams holiday' and the weather isn't snowy...  While I wasn't sledging I created this snowy dessert. Check it out! ;)

Ingredients:
  • 180 g curd = 6,4 oz = 0,4 lb
  • 80 g icing sugar = 2,8 oz = 0,17 lb
  • 1 teaspoon of sour cream
  • 150 g crushed biscuits/cookie crumb crust  = 5 oz = 0,3 lb
  • 35 g margarine = 1,2 oz = 20 drams
  • 0,5 dl milk = 1,7 fl oz = 0,1 pints
+
  • icing sugar (for covering the balls)
  • grated coconut (for covering the balls)
  • cocoa (decoration)
  • chocolate filings (decoration)

Preparation:

1. Mix the curd with the sugar, and the sour cream.

2. Melt the margarine and blend it with the curd cream.

3. Add the crushed biscuits too, and the milk. Mix them well, to get a ball.

4. With a teaspoon, take out some pastry, make it a small ball, and roll it in a icing sugary plate, then in grated coconut.

5. Repeat this, till you run out of pastry. /You can decorate your snowballs to have a snowman, with using cocoa for it's hat, and chocolate filings to its buttons and eyes/

(I have painted the picture, too Do You like it? Winter mood...)

Bon appetite!
